I bought this rod for a spare ice fishing rod

It is a great quality rod for the price and now I store it behind my seat, not only for ice fishing but any fishing that comes up when the regular rod is home in the garage.

The rod sits ready to fish any water when i get the urge.. I also have a set up Redfeather Snowshoes Conquest USA Injection Molded Snowshoe and they are also for instant snow walking. (also behind the seat)

It comes with decent line, it says it is Berkley Trileneline.

The rod at only two feet long actually can reel up a nice fish, we caught some chubby trout and hauled them in really easily.

I will edit this post when i catch a sturgeon or steelhead….

I think that this, overall, is a very nice shelter for ice fishing. It is a little hard to set up in the wind but with an extra hand it is pretty easy. On those nice days you can just keep it unfolded so you are just sitting on the chairs. I mainly use this for myself, because it is very roomy for one person. The most I have had in mine is me and one other person. I do not recommend having three people in it because it is just not very big for 3 grown adults. The flap that covers the window is useful for walleye fishing and the vent on the back is nice to ventilate the shelter if you use a heater in it. In wind, you will have to shovel snow around the edges to keep it secure. All in all, it is a pretty nice shelter for a low price. I definitely recommend this for anybody just starting to ice fish.

I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend. We have had it up once and it was very cool. I don’t think it would be very good on a windy day though!!!!! Also it really is not big enough for 3 people. It is very easy to transport and set up, and it is warm and cozy.

I received this product new and was able to try it in a canal with a slow current. I have been unable to get both bobbers to stand in their upright positions. I have only been successful at getting them to sit at a 45 degree angle. I will try again with a faster current, such as a river to see if this product will work as advertised. My rating is based upon the ease at which I am able to outfit the bobber to the fishing line and the multiple uses for which this bobber comes in handy.

You’re basically paying for a rolled up piece of semi-rigid plastic that uses ropes and tabs to form into something that sort of looks and functions like a flimsy sled. It was a pain to put together and break down in my basement, but I figured I should at least give it a try on the ice. Took it up with me ice fishing last weekend. It’s even more difficult to put together on the ice since it slides around while you are trying to put it together. Once together, it does function as a not-so-great sled. I used it for the day to pull around my gear on the ice. But it was such a miserable experience trying to pack it back up on the ice that I finally gave up, and just threw it out in the trash.

I received the item on time and it was exactly what I thought it would be. The sled fits in my car, and it holds all the items for ice fishing. It is a little hard to assemble, because the material it is made out of is very stiff. All in all, it suits the purpose for which it is intended. Well worth the price. If I had any more options, I would buy a solid sled, but since I don’t, this will do very nicely. You probably have to replace it every other year. Thanks for the prompt service.
